New Working Paper out

The Varieties of Peace team is proud to present its most recent publication entitled "Three Approaches to Peace: A Framework for Describing and Exploring Varieties of Peace". This new Working Paper, published as part of the Umeå Working Papers in Peace and Conflict Studies series, makes an important contribution in the direction of developing more sophisticated and nuanced conceptual models for exploring peace.

The three different ways in which this paper's framework addresses peace are the situational, the relational and the ideational. This way, we are contributing to advancing the conceptual and empirical understandings of peace in the light of its complex and multifaceted nature.
